A retired attorney, Yolanda Gasalla studied law at Georgetown University before later going on to practice law in Florida for over a decade. After retiring from her legal practice, Ms. Gasalla supports a number of charitable causes, including her dedicated service to KHCF USA as President of the Board of Directors.

HRH Princess Ghida Talal
Description

HRH Princess Ghida Talal , an alumna of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, was appointed by HM King Abdullah II to establish the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center in 2001. Under Princess Ghida’s leadership, KHCF/KHCC have become Jordan’s largest charitable organization, providing life-saving care, pioneering awareness and early detection efforts in Jordan, and serving as a regional reference for oncologic training and capacity-building.

Leila Fayaz Larijani, a Georgetown University and NYU alumna, has over 25 years of experience in financial services. She works in private wealth management at UBS in New York. An active member of professional and charitable organizations, she also serves as KHCF USA’s treasurer. Mrs. Larijani lives in New York with her husband, Dr. L. Russell Hirshfield.

Description

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Amira Salaam Amro graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in English Literature and later attended Georgetown Law Center. She later shifted from corporate law to entrepreneurship, founding Flywheel Sports in Dubai. Amira is a dedicated fundraiser and volunteer, supporting causes related to human rights, healthcare, and education. She lives in New York City with her husband and two sons.

Nisreen Qatamish serves as Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation in Jordan, where she oversees fundraising, global advocacy, and awareness programs. She joined KHCF in 2008, playing a pivotal role in developing the Jordan Breast Cancer Program. Mrs. Qatamish holds a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Environment Management from the University of Jordan, and is a strong advocate for gender equality and tobacco control.
